Exploring The Sights Of Croatia

Dubrovnik

 

Dubrovnik has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. Dubrovnik is Croatia’s most glamorous tourist destination and is famous for its old town walls. From the high walls, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the old town and a wonderful sighting across the glimmering Adriatic Sea. Split

The church’s elegant bell-tower is a tourist attraction of its own. The town is also a UNESCO world heritage site.

Hvar Town

 

If you are interested on having a fun time at the trendy part of Croatia, then Hvar might just be what you are looking for. Hvar town is home to few of the country’s top hotel and restaurants and is very much popular with celebrities and yachters.

Korcula Town

 

Korcula town is the chief settlement of the Korcula Island in south Dalmatian. The town is protected by medieval towers and walls. The town is packed full with centuries of aristocratic stone buildings which were built during the rule of the Venetians. The top attraction in the town includes the Marco Polo house which is said to be the birth place of the famous explorer. The town is also renowned for its moreska sword dance, a traditional dance staged for tourists in the town.

 

Korcula has no shortage of amazing restaurants, with picture-perfect postcard views over the water, cocktail bars for a sunset drink and live music you can appreciate while enjoying your alfresco evening drinks.

 

 

Mljet National Park

 

The Mljet national park is covered largely by dense woodland. The MIjet national park is popular for nature lovers and offers many points of attraction for tourists. Numerous paths can be found deep in the woodland and this makes it perfect for bike riding and walking. You can also go for swimming or tour the park in a rented kayak.

 

You may also want to pay a visit to the 12th century Benedictine monastery on a taxi boat in the national parl.
