Our wine itinerary is one of our newest offering among our itineraries. Sailing from Split to Dubrovnik has never been this culturally involved. It's the perfect sailing itinerary for wine lovers and enthusiasts. With the most amazing beaches, wineries, local konobas and rich culture, who wouldn't want to experience it first hand?

Unless otherwise specified, trips are for a private charter for up to 8 guests.

ITINERARY

Sailing Greece

EMBARKATION

Split

When you're starting your Croatian sailing holiday in Split, there is more to the city than just the old town, including the beaches and day trips to Plitvice Lakes and Krka Falls.

 

When you start your Croatian sailing holiday in Split, the marina (Marina Kaštela) is only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the Old Town.

DAY ONE

Milna, Brac

We start your Croatian sailing holiday and ‘Wine Week’ off right with a welcome drink, quick swim and a short sail to the beautiful town of Milna on Brač.

 

Your Croatian sailing and wine week begins by visiting a local wine maker that has been creating wines for hundreds of years and still uses the same techniques today.

Activities:  Check in / welcome drink, Afternoon swim off the boat 

Visit the oldest wine maker on the island, Dinner in a local konoba  

Evening drinks on the boat

DAY TWO

Stari Grad, Hvar

We start the first full day of your Croatian Wine Cruise by sailing to beautiful Stari Grad on Hvar, but not before your first swim in the Adriatic.

 

When you sail Croatia, you absolutely have to visit the island of Hvar. Calling into the port of Stari Grad we arrange pick up and a tour of Hora Farm. You'll enjoy a guided tour of lavender distillery accompanied with wine and traditional snacks, followed with a wine tasting, olive oil tasting and homemade cold cuts (cheeses, meats etc). Optional traditional cooking class.
 

Activities:  Afternoon swim, Wine tour and tasting 

 

Evening: Bars, Local konobas, Cocktails on the boat

HOW TO GET THERE?

DAY THREE

Vis

We set sail for the magical island of Vis. Vis has an amazing history, peppered with wineries and mouth-watering restaurants. We arrive early to the port to ensure we get prime position on the town quay.

 

The wine tour today follows a very relaxed style of tour. Tours can be from 3-6 hours long, all depending on how busy the operator is for the day and your appetite for the number of wineries.

Activities:  Wine tour and tastings, If staying on the boat:  

Island tours including: Blue cave, Green cave, Stiniva bay, Scuba diving / freediving  

 

Evening: Bars, Local konobas, Cocktails on the boat

DAY FOUR

Sv. Nedelja, Hvar

You are in for a real treat, as we’re going to the famous and multi-award winning Zlatan Otok winery on Sveta Nedjelja.  The family farm was established in 1986 and only 3 years later received the patronage for the top quality wine in 1989.

Activities:  Wine tour and tastings 

 

Evening: Local konoba, Cocktails on the boat

DAY FIVE

Korcula

Today your Croatian sailing holiday takes you to Lumbarda, where you can explore the fortified town of Korčula.  This magnificent town has the ability to awaken your imagination as you wander the cobbled streets, or climb the turret-towers for a sunset cocktail after your wine tour and tasting of course!

Activities:  Afternoon swim, Paddle boarding, Wine tour and tastings 

 

Evening: Bars & outdoor entertainment in Korčula, Local konobas & restaurants, Cocktails on the boat 

Cycle the Lake, Mljet

DAY SIX

Mljet

Cycle the lake in the Mljet national park, then join the boat again as we find a place to anchor for the night and enjoy a 3 course meal and paired wines, prepared by your hostess.

Enjoy an evening of star gazing with no light pollution and the bay to ourselves.

Activities:  Afternoon swim, Cycle the national park, Paddle boarding  

 

Evening: Dinner prepared by the crew with paired wines, Star gazing with zero light pollution in a private bay

These cabins are situated on the front part of the monohull. It's not as big as the Aft but some couples prefer it here.

These cabins are situated on the rear part of the monohull. It a bit bigger than the Forward cabin and is more for shared charter.

DAY SEVEN

Dubrovnik

We set sail for the special Old Town of Dubrovnik, but not before a lunch and swim stop.  Get in and wander the Old Town to your heart's desire and marvel at the beautiful architecture, and try to soak it all in.

Activities:  Swimming, Paddle boarding, Town sight-seeing 

 

Evening:  Bars, Traditional tavernas, Cocktails on the boat, Explore Dubrovnik Old Town

DAY EIGHT

Check out

Check out is at 8am. Sadly it's time to say goodbye.

Our suggestion is to stay on for an extra couple of days if time allows for it, so you can spend more quality time in the Old Time and spread yourself around the amazing restaurants, days tours and learn about the amazing country.

Please note the itinerary may change without notice due to weather, sailing regattas or other reasons.

Departure on Saturday, providing no significant boat damage from previous week.
