Whether you’re a professional traveler or just looking for a week of pure relaxation, the Ionian Islands are a dream come true. While many people think of the Mediterranean as crowded beaches, sailing on our Ionian itinerary takes you to the side of Greece that feels untouched, serene, and incredibly beautiful.

If you are joining us on board this summer, you won't need a professional camera to capture the magic. Here are the 10 most stunning spots you'll visit that will make your friends back home wish they were there with you.

1. The Blue Caves (Lefkada)

Imagine waking up, having a fresh breakfast on the deck, and diving straight into water so blue it looks neon. These sea caves are a natural wonder. The light bounces off the white sandy floor, making the water glow from beneath. It’s the perfect spot for that first "I’m on vacation" photo.

2. Melissani Cave (Kefalonia)

Often called the "Cave of the Nymphs," this is an underground lake where the roof collapsed centuries ago, letting in a beam of sunlight. When you take a small rowing boat across the lake at noon, the water is so clear that the boat looks like it is hovering in mid-air.

3. Myrtos Beach (Kefalonia)

You’ve likely seen this beach on postcards. It’s a massive crescent of bright white pebbles tucked between two tall mountains. Whether you’re standing on the shore feeling the cool stones under your feet or looking down from the cliffs above, it’s a sight you'll never forget.

4. The Colorful Harbor of Fiskardo (Kefalonia)

Fiskardo is one of the few villages that survived the great earthquake of 1953, meaning it still has its original Venetian charm. Think pastel-colored houses, narrow alleys filled with flowers, and luxury yachts lined up along the waterfront. It’s the perfect place for a sunset cocktail.

5. Vathy’s Quiet Bay (Ithaca)

Vathy is the legendary home of Odysseus, and as we sail into the horseshoe-shaped harbor, you’ll see why he wanted to come back. The red-roofed houses and the tiny island in the middle of the bay make it feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook.

6. The White Cliffs of Ithaca

On Day Five, we sail past towering limestone cliffs that drop straight into the deep turquoise sea. These massive white walls create a dramatic backdrop that makes you realize how small—and peaceful—the world can be when you're out on the water.

7. Porto Katsiki (Lefkada)

This is a bucket-list destination. A thin strip of sand sits at the foot of a giant, curved cliff. It is one of the most famous landscapes in all of Greece. Even if you just sit on the sand and watch the waves, the scale of the cliffs is absolutely breathtaking.

8. The Village of Kalamos

If you want to experience "Old Greece," Kalamos is it. This tiny fishing village is quiet, authentic, and incredibly welcoming. The stone houses and the local fishermen mending their nets offer a beautiful, rustic look at Greek island life.

9. Papa Nicholas Cave

This cave is so big that a submarine reportedly hid there during WWII! It’s an adventurous spot where you can swim inside and explore the dark corners while the bright blue entrance glows behind you. It’s a favorite for everyone who loves a bit of mystery.

10. Sunrise on the Deck

Some of the best moments don’t happen at a famous landmark; they happen right on our Lagoon 42 catamaran. There is nothing quite like a quiet sunrise with a cup of coffee in your hand, watching the islands wake up while the rest of the world is still asleep.
