Generally not required for stays of up to 90 days; however, travelers from some nations may require a visa, so double-check with the Greek embassy.

High Season (May to August)
The seasons will be in full swing, accommodation will be full price and the tourist hot sports can be double. Tourist hot spots, such as Mykonos and Santorini will be crowded, hot and expensive. If travelling in peak season, it will be to travel off the beaten track.

If you can’t find a flight, you can fly into Athens and take a coach to Lefkas.
If you’re planning on taking the coach to Lefkas, this will take about the same time as a flight from Athens if you consider door to door time, check in, security, then taking a 45 minute taxi from Preveza to Lefkas. The coach will be considerably cheaper at €36 instead of the cost of the flight (approx €180 per person) and a €50 taxi from the airport to Lefkas.
You can take the 93 bus from Athens airport which will take you directly to the bus terminal.

The bus departs from Athens central bus station 4 times per day, 7 days per week, at 07:00, 13:00, 16:30 & 20:30.
For your return journey back to Athens, the bus departs from Lefkas at 09:30, 12:30, 16:30 & 17:15.
The buses are modern and comfortable, the route will take you through some very nice countryside of mainland Greece and the journey duration is 5 hours including a stop halfway for 20 minutes, for refreshments and toilet. The ticket is 34 Euro.
In order to reach Alimos marina, you have 2 choices. These are:
Taxi: Definitely the quickest and easiest way to reach Alimos marina. Just outside the airport’s main hall, there are plenty of taxis waiting. Depending on the traffic, it is approx. a 45-minute drive and it will cost about Euro 40–45 (luggage included). 1. The public bus which will take you directly outside the marina (the bus stop is called EDEM).
The metro (subway) that will take you to Syntagma Sqr. (Athens centre). From there, you can get the Tram Line to Alimos marina (EDEM stop). The metro runs every 30 minutes from 05.30 to 00.20 on a daily basis. The ticket costs Euro 8 (with further discounts for more people) which also covers the change to the Tram line. When you arrive, you will go to the charter office of Kiriacoulis Charter and tell them you're sailing with Med Sailing Holidays. They will direct you to our pier and boats. You'll be looking for a sailing boat with a large rainbow “Pride Sailing Holidays" flag.
