YOGA SAILING IN CROATIA
Yoga Sailing Holidays is a brand of Med Sailing where we combine a yoga retreat, meditation and a sailing holiday around the stunning Croatian coastline for the best yoga retreat in Europe.
We’ve handpicked the best locations in the area for you to explore and to create mini-adventures for your morning yoga class, before setting sail to your next destination. Why just go on a yoga retreat when you can be part of a yoga sailing holiday!
As part of the 7-day yoga sailing holiday, you will enjoy daily yoga, daily guided meditation with your certified instructor and daily swim stops. Yoga is just a part of the sailing holiday, you will enjoy the sailing adventure as you island hop from Split to Dubrovnik, you will call into private bays for your afternoon swim and lunch, before you set sail to your next island.
You don’t need to be a yogi to participate, you may just want to totally relax or try something new when you sail Croatia on your private yacht.

I have booked the Yoga Sailing Holidays for yoga and sail in October 2016. Everything has been already started with ease and joy. The booking and the conformation was done very quickly, the staff helped me with any question that I had. On the boat I have met the amazing crew, who made my trip one of the best holidays of my life. We started the mornings with yoga, breakfast together and had an enjoyable sail to other islands. We went swimming in beautiful and extraordinary places, enjoyed meditation and food, which the crew prepared. Due to different tastes within the crew and the group we tried various different foods. I enjoyed diving from the boat, the sailing and all the bays and harbours we have visited. Everyday all people on the boat were full of energy, in a best mood and made my holiday very special. I really enjoyed this and would recommend to everyone! Thank you very much

I had a fantastic time with Yoga Sailing Holidays in Croatia! We got to practice yoga in some cool locations, exploring with the islands and being led through restorative flow to balance the day by our wonderful instructor, Melissa. We visited really niche spots for swimming and SUP in turquoise waters and having lunch on the water; all the meals were beautifully prepared for by our hostess, Olivia, with a variety of dishes through breakfast and lunch, plus good coffee! Our skipper, Marko, is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and shared some great stories from his travels and knowledge of Croatian history through the region. I'm not sure on my favourite island stop, probably Vis or Korčula, but each destination seemed better than the previous and it was a great taster of what Croatia has to offer. I also really enjoyed being ‘shown the ropes’ to help with mooring the yacht and assisting with the sails. This was a unique experience and so many laughs with a group of like-minded travellers, I’m glad I went with Yoga Sailing Holidays.

Just came from teaching yoga along the Croatian Coast. Have to say our crew were incredible from the food on board and recommendations on the islands to taking us to secluded swimming spots in the middle of the Adriatic. Unbelievable, once in a lifetime experience. We were a mixed group of yogis with some who have never done yoga before and of all ages , but as the saying goes yoga is not all about getting into poses. I designed the practices to include time for meditation and breath work and so all levels could participate, warm up safely, and choose options depending on level , and in the end get to that state of calmness and bliss. Wasn’t hard to do in the Mediterranean. We all enjoyed the beautiful vistas at every practice, and some peaceful in the moment walking meditations to end our practice. Lots of laughter, and playfulness throughout the week. This yoga holiday was so much fun that I will be offering another yoga week on the Coast of Greece in September 2020. Thank you Yoga Med Holidays for making this holiday for me and my group a memorable experience.

Whether you're starting or ending your Croatian sailing holiday in Split, there is more to the city than just the old town, including the beaches and day trips to Plitvice Lakes and Krka Falls.
If you have time, we encourage you to stay a few extra days to see some of the additional sights from Split.
When you sail Croatia, you will be starting/ending your Croatian sailing holiday in Split (Marina Kaštela) which is only 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the Old Town.
Sit back and relax, you are going to love your vacation when you sail Croatia and the 'tasting plate' of the Dalmatian coastline.

We start your Croatian sailing holiday by sailing to the island of Brač and the traditional fishing village of Milna.
You'll be able to wander the streets and breathe in tradition before setting down for the first night of your Croatian sailing holiday.
Time permitting, there will be a quick evening meditation before wandering the town and settling down for dinner.
Keep it local and dine in the restaurant by the boats, or wander through the old town, it's your choice, you're free to wander.
Brač is a terrific port for witnessing golden Croatian sunsets. It's your first of many on your yoga sailing holiday.

We start the day with AM yoga and freshly prepared breakfast on your private yacht.
We set sail to our second island on your Yoga Sailing Vacation in paradise.
Lunch in a protected bay, followed by a swim? Yes please!
We will be in Vinogradise Bay for the evening. There is plenty of time for a swim around the boat before getting ready to out into Hvar, where there is a plethora of restaurants to cater to every budget and taste, or If you prefer to stay on board your private yacht, you'll enjoy a perfectly still night in the bay with an outdoor cocktail bar a short water taxi ride away. (water taxi is 100 Kuna)

It wouldn't be a yoga sailing holiday in Croatia if we didn't take you to the island of Vis. Vis has a magic of her own.
We will arrive early in Vis, insuring we get a prime spot on the town quay for easy 'hop on, hop off' experience.
There are a list of awesome excursions on the island, including: Blue Cave tour, Wine tours, history and military tours.
Once you've finished with your action packed day, there is an amazing selection of restaurants and wineries for dinner for you to choose from. Finally it's back to the boat for a cheeky wine before bed.

We start the day with AM yoga, before starting our longest day of your yoga sailing experience. We are en route to the postcard-perfect town, Korčula.
Korčula is said to be the home town of Marco Polo. There is a plethora of restaurants, bars and jewellery stores.
There are sunset bars, fine dining and street bands playing into the late of the night. The streets are safe and enjoyable to wander late at night with your gelato, just don't stay out too late, tomorrow is another amazing day.
Tomorrow we set sail down the Dalmatian Coast to the beautiful island of Mljet.

Mljet is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic, with a designated National Park there are cycle tracks and walking tracks to explore the island.
We will stop in the crystal clear waters for a swim, wine & lunch, before heading into Polače. You can bicycle through the National Park and around the beautiful lake for a golden sunset.
We are now beginning to experience traditional Dalmatian hospitality and cuisine.
On the island there are far fewer tourists and locals. You will experience the warmth of true Dalmatia and the generous locals..

Today is a terrific day for relaxation. We have a short sailing day ahead, which means leisurely sailing and long swim stops.
We sail our way down the coastline to find our hidden gem, for our swim-stop, lunch and refreshments before we continue to a little bay and traditional fishing village where time stands still and the hospitality second to none in Okuklje (pronounced "o-kook-yeah").
We will berth your private yacht and dine in a restaurant where they'll kill you with kindness and the food is pretty amazing too!
No street lights means an amazing sky full of stars after dinner.

We will enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading off on our final voyage on your Croatian sailing holiday to the fortified town of Dubrovnik.
We have another spot for your afternoon swim, lunch and refreshments in the bay before we head for Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik is mystical old town that will cast a spell over you and you’ll see why it's the home to so many movie sets, including The Game of Thrones.
Take a stroll, marvel at the beautiful architecture and try to soak it all in.
Before the sun sets, we'll explore the Old Town and catch the sun setting with a cocktail and your new friends.

All good things must come to an end and it's time to say “zbogom” (goodbye).
Check out and disembarkation is at 8:00
If you have the time, we'd encourage you to stay in town for a day or two extra to really absorb what the area has to offer before the next leg of your journey.
